I wish you could use them in the US. I would love to see them in theatres and restaurants.

Read something recently about a composite they have been manufacturing that they can put into laminate or under dry wall that blocks cellular signals from leaving or entering buildings. Don't remember if the link was here, or was something someone else sent me.

Well, that looks like fun. But what I want is a device that causes every cell phone in a movie theatre to ring all at once.

Maybe then they will start checking them at the door.

I can't remember going to a movie that wasn't interupted by some rude person with a cell phone.

"Hey up there! Can you re-wind that part? There's some @$$#0le down here with a cell phone!"

Cadd, or the friggin BA DEE BADEE BADEE that gets progressively louder as the holes ignore it.. I don't know which phone/service it is but it grates on me every time I hear those screaming tones...
I guess you could laminate a fine copper wire mesh into the wall board, ceiling and in the doors, and make kind of like a giant faraday cage out of the inside, I think that might work.

Trust me Cadd, I agree with you, especially about the phones in theaters. I have been told by my managers. that we can ask nicely to have them turn them off, but cannot ask them to take it out to thier cars. If they insist on bringing them in, we have to let them go. I hate having to be the one to tell people that they are supposed to turn them off, or they cannot take their leftovers from dinner in with them, and so on. I can only ask nicely, and have to put up with the temper tantrums that are produced from the asking..... People tend to be upset at the workers because it makes them late to movies, and the whole idea of not bring those items in, has never occured to them before.................
