I went to buy my new mobo today, from a friend th truns a small shop nearby. He gives me good deals when he gets them, and so on. So I walk in, he's sitting at the workbench, working on this older IBM windoze 98 machine.
Look it works in safe mode, but when i boot it into windows all I get are lines all across the screen.
I said why don't you open device manager, and delete everything, and reboot, and let windows find it all, and install it. You won't have to format, save you money,(it was a warrany job),and time.
Will it work, he asked
If it does will you give me this MOBO, I asked, (had to try)
NO! he said, but he did delete everything, and let windows finds the drivers for it, and Viola, it runs like new.
This is a little trick I learned from the place called TechIMO, and many others I haven't mentioned. So thanx TechIMO, knowledge is power, plus I bet I get a little more respect from him from now on
Hey Scott, can we have little arm patches that say TechIMO+ Certified, or a diploma or something? I mean he's got a plaque that says A+Certified
I would buy an arm patch
