Is Quickbooks it - or is there a legi alternative

What accounting software have you used for a small business. For me, its going to be a first time venture so i will need something easy to set up for e-commerce. Actually i really wont be using half the functions but i do want something that will work if the business grows.

What have you used and what do you think I will need?
