A novel by Neal Asher.

Just finished reading it, IMO it's very good, it's a futuristic story. If anyone is into this have a look at it.

I prefer murder/court/thriller type of Bestsellers, preferably on the NYT Bestseller list. Don't like hocus-pocus type of future novels on time travel, flying saucers, 3 headed aliens....

Personal choice, though.

Gimme a Robert Ludlum anyday.
