Outdoors SCREAMING RANT!!...

Ok, today was my 6 year old's first day in 1st grade... took her to school talked to the teacher... all is good.

BUT, when I go to pick her up from my parents house (she rides the bus to their house).. I find out that the bus dropped her off 1/2 MILE FROM THE HOUSE!! ... IN THE HEAT!!... ON A ROAD SHE HAS NEVER WALKED DOWN IN HER LIFE!!!! AT AN INTERSECTION OF A HIGHWAY!!!!!!

I come to pick her up and mom said that her face was red as a beet and she cried the whole way home......

First thing....I will get the bus drivers name....next I call the principal and have a few words with him....and if I'm not satisfied, I will go to the school to have a few MORE words with him and then call the Superintendent....

WTH is wrong with people....

and my daughter told the dumbass bus driver that this was not where she is supposed to get off....

I hope I cool down a little before tomorrow....

{gritting teeth to the point of headache} AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!

(you have no clue how hard it was not to use inappropriate language in this post)

Okay, sit down...have some dip.

Whoa, yeah, but that's a weird one, though...might it be possible your daughter may have mistakenly told the busdriver "I want out here", or something? That's quite a stretch for a little one, esp. on a hot day.

OTOH, first day of school...

Did you ride with her beforehand and explain Landmarks / routes so she could figure where to get off ?

But hey yes, understand the rant, I would be after that bus drivers butt with a buzz saw !!

As Knot say, Chill, and have some dip,

Then go fire up !!

LOL

Hey, I just love a screaming rant!

Sorry about your daughter, though.

I will say this, in defense of bus drivers: They don't have it easy. One of my relatives drove a school bus many years, and the stories she can tell...WHOO!

I would be as fired up as you are. I have to agree with the buzz-saw theory. I certianly would be out to inflict some pain on the bus driver(or at least make them understand that he/she should not do that EVER again). But as stated before, chill and take a deep breath. When was the last time you put much stock in what a ranting and screaming individual said?

Lets see...

Yes she did tell the driver that she was not supposed to get off there.

and she rode the same bus last year....just a different driver now.

It wouldn't be as bad but she was by herself.....any lunatic could have drove up and took off with her.

Last time I had fuming temper was with officemax, last night....but not as bad as today

They have been goofing around with some business cards I ordered 9 MONTHS ago......still haven't gotten it resolved...

Come on Fingers the Cruez needs a good curse to let off steam.

Can you just put a parental lock on this thread and let him curse up a storm...

You could be making him a healthier parent by doing so. Otherwise Cruez may explode. Would you want that on your head.

Where are you that your kid is already going back to school.

Early school start is another rant of mine.

Glad all turned out ok though.

I agree with your Rant completely. Its hard to fully understand unless you have a Daughter (or son) who means the world to you. Kids are so precious, and with all the abductions lately I can see where your coming from. IMO, they shouldn't be walking more than a block untill their in 7th or 8th grade.

Give em h3ll Cruez, then have some dip.

And I'd have to agree with Epidemic, really an early start. My daughter starts on the 27th and I thought that was early. But then she gets out in late May.

I think he already did.

But, good all is well. Gotta be cautious in today's time.

A 6 year old should not have had to do that. That is ridiculous. I would have the school transportation person's head on a platter if that happened again.
