I hear you there Pickel. I may not be from NYC, but I understand what you mean. That is by far the lowest thing that could have been done IMO. You would think that people would have some of compassion, but no, they only think of themselves. More evidence of the <ME> generation.

Doesn't matter where they were from. Those type of people are the norm these days. Given the chance, the majority of people would commit fraud/robbery if they thought they could get away with it. I've lived all over the world and I have never been any place where theft didn't occur. You hear of places where folks leave their doors unlocked at night, but I've never seen such a place in all my travels. I think it's a myth.

When I was a kid, we had gone to see EXPO '67 in Montreal. My Dad forgot his Canon camera at one of the exhibits and after several hours after going back to the exhibits we visited, he found it lying on the counter, just where he left it 3-4 hours earlier.

I still remember it so clearly after 35 years.
