painting w/ oil based paint... need some help

I have painted a lot of stuff before using oil-based paint, and I have come across a problem that I do not know how to solve....

Normally, no matter what brush, etc. that I use, when I paint the oil-based paint does not leave any brush-marks, striations, or whatever when it is dry...

right now it is drying w/ brushmarks... I have tried different brushes and have no luck

the paint is benjamin moore linen white...

suggestions?

Hi, zskillz, What I would do if I were you would be to thin the paint down, and do it in two coats. It sounds as though you've got good paint, but you're just putting it on too thick.

Also, you could retard the drying time by adding a little linseed oil (check with your dealer on this) this 'll retard the dryng time and let the paint "level out."

Good luck!
