Can't stand the heat...
... so I'm getting out of the kitchen for a bit. Tomorrow morning, Marcia and I are off to Nova Scotia until the 16th. Lobster, salmon, bagpipes, fog. See you soon!

Flying, yeah. I would have driven, but it's a three-day drive each way, and normally we'd stop over with friends on the way, and they're not there now.
I'm not a big fan of Tim's. (I lived in St Catharines for six years.)

Cover heart and liver with cold water, Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Chop heart and coarsely grate liver. Toast oatmeal in a skillet on top of the stove, stirring frequently, until golden. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Loosely pack mixture into stomach, about two-thirds full. Remember, oatmeal expands in cooking.
| WHOA!!! I haven't even consumed this yet and I already have heartburn *BURP*
Have a good trip!!!

Went to Nova Scotia for my honeymoon. We loved it, especially when we went in late Fall, the leaves had all changed to a brilliant color. Peggy's Cove is one of the coolest places on Earth and Louisville is one of the best historical "recreations". Where else can you go to visit the Anne Murray museum and a coal mine?
There was some place that was a Scottish castle/inn that we promised to go back and stay in for our anniversary if we could afford it...the scenic drives were incredible.
Have fun!
