Bad Luck Again

I got kidney stones again I was at work today and started to be in intense pain so I left and went to the doc. They gave me a shot of pain killer in my hip and sent me home with some codine after the test comfirmed stones. Told me if I don't pass it soon to come back and they would help me pass them again This is the second time this year I have got them darn things and let me tell ya I don't wish it on anyone. These things are as bad as chemo or maybe worst because the pain is soooo bad until ya get some pain drugs. Last time they had to blow up the stones so I could pass'em. If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have none at all.

OUCH! I had some a year or so back, and Man they HURT! I felt like I was going to die before they relieved the pain. Can't stand, sit, or lay down All I could do was walk. Sorry to hear MDS

Remember to drink lots of water/fluids-ATLEAST 10 glasses a day or more even.

The more liquids you take the better it is.

(One reason I drink beer.)

Man, you've had a tough go of it lately, MDS. Sorry to hear it.

From what I've heard of kidney stones, I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy. I hope these go a little easier for ya, or at least you can get some medication when you need it to lessen the pain.

shahaniI swore last time I would always make sure to drink enough water,but I work in an area that hit over 100 f throwing 88# bags of dries(aprox 50,000 in 12hrs.) and I loose all my fluid is sweat. So I better drink more like a gal. an hour.
