Kids weird plant

found this in our yard. i have no idea what sort of plant it is,but its rather nice looking.

can anyone out there identify it??

its around six inches tall

I dont know what it is,but it looks like a Lady's Slipper... except they are bigger than 6" high.

Well, that eliminates the orchid idea, Wrong part of the world for orchids to grow in the yard. It does look like a Lady Slipper, but it's to small, Hey! mayby you got a new miniature mutation!

Ohhh sure, at my house in Michigan we get lots of funny looking plants, most of them look like WEEDS.

I agree with the lady slipper. A lot of times in the wild, lady slippers will not be very large at all but hug the ground with just a short shoot with the flower(s)

Do the leaves have veins that run along the length of the leaf sort of parallel to each other instead of branching from a single stem?

If so, then that's right.

heres another pic of it,my hand included for size clarification. it has no green leaves,its white all the way up from the ground. almost looks fungus-like
