Did you ever think working in a popcorn plant could KILL you?

Dag,

I would guess it is some sort of alergic reaction because this is not happening to all employees. If so you would guess that they could test for that.

You also have to believe that they could increase filtering of the air or ventilation.

It's like a horror movie...the things happening to some of these people.

Man, oh, man...the worse part is it's been going on for two years now, and they still haven't made any changes at the plant.

Just because something's safe to eat doesn't mean it's safe to breathe, and vice versa . It's much less dangerous to swallow mercury than to inhale the vapor; and Paraquat, which destroys your lungs if you ingest it, doesn't do so if you inhale it.

If that is directed at me.

I am just stating that if only a few of the hundreds of workers have seen the problem it is probably a horrible sensetivity on their part. The factory still needs to improve ventilation and filtration. And there is no excuse for this not to be in place now.

How long does it take to put in a few fans and ducts. Heck even a BPPM meter. Butter Parts Per Million.

Just throw some salt around to absorb the butter...salt's cheap!

Bad joke...it's powder butter...they need masks with popcorn filters, so at the end of the day, they can have a snack.
