ZEUS was the most highly decorated DOOG in NYC Police Dept. history, and that is saying something in a City of Eight million.

ZEUS was the First DooG to search for victims at after the World Trade Center was first bombed in 1993.
Not content to help Ny'ers in need, ZEUS worked the Oklahoma City bombing Site during that City's tragic 1995, working twelve-hour shifts in April.
That Summer he solved an 8 year old murder mystery, with his Sniffer, finding a body buried 4' beneath concrete and sand.
In 1996, he went to Atlanta, following the Olympic bombing.
The same year saw active service in St. Thomas and Puerto Rico, following hurricanes.
A traveling DooG, in 1998, ZEUS went to the Dominican Republic, following a hurricane there.
He retired from active duty to his Partner's home in Long Island, NY.
The ten-year old German Sheperd PoocH, must have been an inspiration to
Atlas, a Rookie Police DooG, who came to live with P.O. Schnelle and him, while he enjoyed his retirement.
He died July 23 at home from a ruptured spleen following a bout with cancer.
Police DooG ZEUS, a GooD DooG and and a good friend to Humankind.
