Yeah, it looks bad, but you gotta consider the scale. All those little green dots are about 1,000,000,000 times the size they should actually appear. What looks like a dense cloud of matter should actually look invisible at that scale.
Also don't forget this image is 3d condensed into 2d so what is actually spread out over a huge 3 dimensional space is been flattened
