Can i change my name that is viewed in all of the forums and posts, it is curently goldpag and i think i need a change plus when i signed up TBC did not tell me that this would be my name forever lol arhh but any help would be great
It's definitely possible, if you ask a mod (nicely). A recent new member had what was considered an offensive name, asked to have it changed, and was granted his wish by the Name Fairy.

It's possible to change your name. Request a Mod and she'll do it. I think recently one of the female members with an errrr...... suggestive name got it changed to a less suggestive one. \

The problem with changing usernames is that it disrupts the continuity of the existing threads where members may have addressed one another specifically.
I'm only aware of two instances where a member was allowed to change their username, and both were very new members with very few posts.
If you'd like to pursue this further, you should email Scott at sdw@techimo.com, otherwise I'd suggest continuing with your current username, or re-registering with another.
