Brainchild
Today in church I thought of you and your son as a girl gave a testimony.
This week this girl was horseback riding and the horse went berzerk. She was thrown from it when it was in a full gallop and she did heavy damage to the cervical vertebrae 4 and 5. Paralysis began to set in on her left side and an MRI could not locate her 4th cervical vertebrae. The members of her youth group (and many others) began to pray. the doctors came up the next day and did another MRI to check the damage 48hrs after the accident and they were amazed. The vertebrae were 100% undamaged. The paralysis had subsided and the girl was able to walk up on stage this Sunday morning withonly a neck brace on, with no apparent side effects.
This all happened this week in my town. I have heard of miracles liek this where God's hand is evident, but this is the first time I have really been able to experience this first hand.
God still gives us miracles today. I prayed today that your son is given one of them as well.
Dave

Like I said before........the power of prayer is awesome.
Where ever two or more gather in His name, He is there.

James:5:16: Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

here here. there was a friend of mine int he same youth group as me in high school that had had liver problems all his life. well one day he went into a coma and was hospitalized. he was put at THE top of the donor list and the doctors said if he didn't get a liver in 48 hours he would die. he got worse as things went along, not responding to anything and 36 hours later there was still nothing. with about 4 hours or so left a liver became available in maryland and the doctor personally flew in his private jet and picked it up personally. it wasn't a match for him (you know how organs need to be a blood match and such to work) but this hospital in Dallas had developed new methods for organ transplants in which a match isn't neccesarry. at the time this was the only hospital in the country with these capabilities. he had a full recovery. i strognly believe, to this day, that God played a heavy hand in it, and that the prayers of our congregation tipped things in his favor. prayer really does make a difference, no matter what others might say.

Thanks Dave, i needed that. I believe strongly in the power of prayer, and in the power of God, and I thank you for the prayers. Tell the little girl that I'm glad God did that for her, and her story touched me. Quote: |
