Yup, thats an alignment issue alright. Could be defective tyres too. Tyres are batch-produced so sometimes a defective batch turns up. But if its uneven wear its the alignment.
yes it sounds like the camber on the left side was at it's minimum spec when aligned.. you get in and it goes -1 or less.. i'd get it rechecked... may be some extra labour to get it perfect....upper stut mount grinding may be envolved...
Here is another point, there was an extra charge to grind off the spot welds from the factory. Now, the car just hit 99,000 miles and when I put the tires on at 90,000 miles the alignment was fine.....just needed it realigned because I replaced the tie rod ends...
I'm sure they will have some excuse that its not their fault.....as usual..
Has your wife or girlfriend been jumping curbs lately. My wife is a great curb jumper. I had to give her my truck so car wouldnt keep getting messed up. One good pothole or curb will do it.
Just wondering my sidewalls have more scuffs than the dance floor on saturday night. Bad depth perception I guess. Its bad when wife pops right rear tire getting on interstate ramp. I told her I could drive my 18 wheeler around that curb and never touch it. Not nice I know but I had to buy new tire and it was a little bitty Saturn car. Wasn't like it was big lincoln continental. Now she just jumps the curbs instead of scuffing the sidewalls.lol
