the worst one I've had at work was when I touched the leads of a CM-8 (no need to explain it, it's about 220V) with snips (scissors) in my hand...my arm jerked back so fast that I launched the snips straight into the drywall behind me! Oopsies...

I once had a motorcycle with an electronic Thyristor Ignition, it used "surface gap" spark plugs. One night, I was fooling with it, trying to solve a problem of irregular ignition firing.
So to find out which one was being "lazy", I took one of the three plugs out, connected it to the cap, and cranked the engine and grounded the tip to the cylender head...
ZAP! I woke up about 10 feet away.

Gave me an insight into the nature of your avatar.
And I am even paranoid about plugging-in to a wall socket to this day!
