Bean pickers pee water. Just seeing the word "beer" on that stuff makes me mad.

Oh stop, it ain't that bad.

If I had a choice of Corona or nothing I'd take the Corona in a second. With a slice of lime please.Of course I'd prefer a MGD.

I drink Corona (with a slice of lime) once in a while -good with spicy food.

Otherwise, mostly, I'm a conservative beer drinker and stay with Dutch/German/India beers.

Worst beers-Budweiser/Miller/Coors-most American beers are watered and have no taste. British beers are mostly thick/dark/heavy ale types.

Prefer a pilsner mostly.

Favorites: Kingfisher and Sandpiper (India), Heineken and Amstel Light (Dutch). Carlsberg and Becks (German).

Tried a real nice one last weekend though - Presidente (Dominican). Superb taste, smooth, good head, light yet potent.

I agree. In my beer-drinking days, I just never could take this stuff seriously. It's just beer-flavored fizzywater, presumably with alcohol in it. Weak Pilsners, the lot of 'em. Pleh.

I see no mention of Samuel Adams--an excellent American beer, with a surprising, subtle spiciness of the clove variety. It's very rich and full-bodied. You just HAFTA drink it out of a glass to really appreciate it. Highly recommended!

Samuel Adams Boston Ale, Pete's Wicked Ale both nice. For a heavier, sweeter barley-wine type, I like Sierra Nevada Bigfoot. But there are scores, perhaps hundreds, of good American microbrews around. Just avoid the machine-made homogenized fast-food type that the major manufacturers (I won't dignify them with the honorable name of brewer) churn out.
