John Walker Pleads Guilty to 2 of 10 Indictments in Plea Bargain. Gets 20 Yrs.
Just heard on TV.

Pleads GUILTY to 2 of 10 charges in Plea Bargain.

Plea Bargain drops the Conspiracy to Murder CIA Agent Spann.

Sentenced to two consecutive TEN year terms.
Total of 20, unless earlier Parole.

Wife of Spann interviewed and is accepting of Plea Bargain.

Walker agrees to help Gov't with information in other cases.

He'd better hope that he's going to PC (Protective Custody) and not general population. PC is basically solitary.

My guess they will put him in some private-like situation with CONSIDERABLE protection--at least until he outlived any Intelligence or testifying value . Almost a Witness Protection Program behind bars.

He's lucky they didn't just shoot him in Afghanistan.

Don't know what his cooperation is worth the Gov't, but he seems to have gotten off lite.

I don't know, I feel that if he helps the government then we could give him some slack (I know, I know.)

No, it's a VERY big deal. Although the US Government wants to shut down the WHOLE terrorist network and by doing that they decided to give John Walker Lindh a chance and now he's going to dime out all of his friends to save his own skin. (Which isn't that bad of a thing except for the fact that all of America hates him and now all of the people in the middle east will hate him.)
