Hmm.. when I first read your post I was going to suggest going to Altavista and put it in their translator, but the characters on your site are part of an image so that wouldn't work.

I've had good success with the translator, just last week a Japanese site, once translated, helped me solve a software problem that had been outstanding for ages.

There are a few Japanese members on Techimo but I suppose at the moment it's gone midnight there!!!

Actually the yokoso (welcome) looks and works great for the website. Only the trash can bit looks out of place.
