I want that kind of car window tinting ...

You know the black-->silver tint effect you see on some cars? The very base of the window is silver-ish/white and fades to black as it goes up. That's as good as I can explain it... I've seen many BMWs with it here in NY.

Anyone know if it's called something in particular and how much it would cost ? It may be called "reflective" and "holographic", but I'm unable to find this info on the web. I was also told this kind of tint was illegal.

Any help appreciated.

Well i don't know what color it is. But here in hicksville you can't have over the bottom half of the front side windows tinted, none of the windshield, but compltely tinting the back one is OK. Prolly differs from state to state.
I would just stop in the local parts suppliers, and talk with them. They usually have a good idea whats what, or can look it up for ya.
