Geeez it's hot!
So just how am I supposed to keep my CPU running at under 100°F when the high temp predicted for tomorrow is 110°F? No air condintioning...usually don't need it around here.
This heat sucks. BTW, the temperature at the US Ranger station in Death Valley today: 128°F and it's going to be hotter tomorrow!

I feel ya man, I'm in the valley so it's way hotter here than in the bay area, but still hot everywhere

Stage 1 power alert!!!!
I don't have a/c either. It hit 95 degrees today. I think my video card doesn't like this. I'm getting some corrupted graphics.

How's this for crazy: When quitting time came and I stepped outside the office building, I was greeted with a blast of 105F air! I walked a few steps then turned around and went back into the building to inhale some 78F air, then tried going to my car again. The second time around, I made it.
[edit]
It's now 12:35AM and about 70F. The graphics corruption is gone. Looks like I'll have to beef up the cooling on the graphics card.

Well it's 6:25 am and the AC is still on. WHEW, it's hot outside even now. But I guess I shouldn't complain. It's only going to get into the mid 90's today. Could be worse. Usually here in Missouri it's around the century mark by now, but it's only really been hot ( above 90) for a couple of weeks
I wonder if I could get by with putting A/C in the garage? Prolly not Oh Well.

HOT?! Lets talk hot. Yesterday it registered 121 on the freeway.
Talk about dichotomy. Yesterday, we had a heat advisory for Phoenix. Tempatures estimated in the 115 to 120's and 10% humidity.
Last night we had a severe storm warning.

Ooooohhh....prediction upped to 112 today. That's always at the airport on the East end of town. My office is on the West end and it's always hotter here.

Fatal:
I remember going door-to-door in Phoenix, selling tickets to the Boy Scout Exposition, when it was 115 F out. I was wearing my full regulation scout uniform (no shorts!) And I can't imagine how I must have looked. I must have looked pretty hot, because 60 year-old ladies who I knew were never gonna go out to the fairgrounds in Phoenix in August were buying tickets from me out of sympathy.
