Ventura hospitalized with blood clot

ST. PAUL, Minn., July 9 — Gov. Jesse Ventura was hospitalized Tuesday for treatment of a recurring blood clot in his lung. Ventura, who announced last month that he would not seek a second term, was being treated with blood thinners and was in good spirits, his spokesman said.

I hope that guy will be okay....when Jesse Ventura was elected, I thought it was the greatest joke of the decade...thought the Minnesota voters had the BEST sense of humor...

THEN I read his Playboy interview, and was floored at the man's honesty, his sense of propriety, and so on. He's an absolute Original, and I sorely wish there were more politicians with them kinda brass....you know.
