Went to the last day of the Cherry Festival Air Show today. All I can say is . Even though I have seen the Angels before, there show never fails to amaze me. Just awsome.

Any body else seen the Blue Angels air stunts?

Outstanding performers. It is utterly amazing what they do. Once you fly for yourself, you see how utterly talented ..and insane...they are.

I have seen them perform in San Francisco during Fleet Week and they are just amazing! The very first time I saw them, I was crossing the Golden Gate bridge and saw them fly between the bridge towers behind me in my mirrors!

they fly at the airshow here every few year's, and alway's put on a great show.
This year it will be the Canadian Snowbirds who also put on a great show.

They are VERY impressive live. I would be afraid to fly one of them but to actually do what they do is really unbelievable.

did you know the Blue Angels do al of their work WITHOUT G-SUITS! I heard this recently during our indoc for G-LOC (G-force induced Loss Of Consciousness). They don't want the suit blowing up in a high G turn and putting them off course (into the get 12 inches off their wing). Really cool! That takes TREMENDOUS physical conditioning to be able to take 6 Gs without a G suit!

And I have gotten to work on one of the Blue Angel's jets before. They aren't as pretty looking up close. There are lot's of imperfections.
