I go to that lake very often for short bike trips. It's about a mile from my house. They said that some kids have suffered cardiac arrests and some people are dead. There is a local airport less than a half a mile away from my house, and about half a mile away from that lake, it's one of those airports for personal planes.

UPDATE: THis just happened less than an hour ago, so not much detail is available yet.

And this happened not long after the El Air shooting at LAX.Jeese California is not a good place to be today.

The media is saying that it looks more like an accident. If the pilot started from the Local Airport and there was trouble, as you see from the map, he didn't have much space to maneuver, if he hit the water, there surely would be people there, so he didn't have any choices.

Here's what I know so far, he hit at least 10 people on the ground 1 fatality, 2 kids wih major injuries. They still don't know how many people on board of the plane.

What's going on with those airplanes falling out of the sky lately?
One in the Central African Republic too, today. And the Russian one crashed into the DHL cargo flight earlier this week.

Well considering the amount of damage even a small plane can do glad it didn't do more damage

Yeah, lots of people celebrating the 4th at that park. I wouldn't make the connection with the LA airport shooting, though.
