its been hotternhell up here in da U.P.,eh??prepaid for an airconditioner this morning and was told truck would be in at 6 pm. waited till 645 -place was packed with people with prepaid a/c slips like me. so i waited. and waited. ditto dtiio. one hour and 15 min i waited. so me and two other guys go back in the store room and find the manager by himself unloading the semi. so the three of us pitch in and get that thing unloaded pronto,all teh while looking for our certian a/c unit. now,after 2 hrs ,45 min of hard labor,come to find out our a/c s will be on tomorrows truck.

i guess the moral of the story is this. draboo didnt lose a grip and threaten teh manager,or anything like that. the fellow was really gracious for our help and guaranteed our satifaction tomorrow whenever we walk in.

while riding home,after 2hrs of anticipation,i damn near hadda pull over i was laughing so hard. i know,i know,hard to understand,isnt it?? what the hell is he LAUGHING about. nothing funny as far as i can see

i think i got it figured out>>> God indeed has a sense of humor!!

Heaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. I haven't left my basement since Sunday. It's got to be cooler up in Marquette than it is here. You guys at least have the lake.

Isn't it weird how stuff like that works out sometimes though? Karma is cool.

To bad you have to suffer another night trying to sleep in that heat. I think todays temp here was 97. But no problem for me. The hottest its been in the house so far is 74.

I don't think I coulda taken it so well, I'm still young and far from mellow.

Mine and my parents rooms are the only a/c rooms in the house (I only have one because I snagged this 20 yr old beast when my 'rents got a new one)....it was actually uncomfortable to watch tv in the living room.

draboo - That was a kind act you and the other fellow did today....I bet the manager was sh*tting bricks when he was doing that....and with all the disgruntled customers in the store....

I know it dosen't sound that hot until you factor in the humidity, which has been hovering around 83% the last few days. That feels very hot.

Awe, just pretend you're in Fl0rida! It's that way there 10 months of the year!

Today it was overcast... It felt almost muggy... I was so happy to feel moisture for once.. The humidty I was happy about was 15% But it was good,, you could move and your skin didn't crack!

Unless I had central air, I wouldn't be able to live in uber hot climates....I'd imagine central air must be standard "down there".

Ya know I think I'll move over to the east one of these days and suffer with you guys
