Watch out squirrels....

*evil laugh*

Dusted off my Ruger 10/22T today....she is my 50yd pin point rifle....if you can aim at it, she can hit it.

The magazines are actually two taped together end to end with packing tape on each side, so I have 20 available shots (10 in each mag). I'd get a banana clip but they are so dang expensive for the 10/22 (thanks slick willy...). The scope is a 3-9 variable x 32mm Bushnell (off of my dad's .308 he sold).

I have three of the bananna clips. I though you still could get them at shows for around 25 bucks though... I also have the butler creek speed loader for reloading the clips. I can go thru a brick of ammo in a half hour. but you cant see through the rising heat waves though.

With my old 10/22 standard model, I shot 3-4000 rounds without EVER cleaning the thing......lol....not even once....still fired fine. With this, because of it's tighter more precision engineered barrel, I HAVE to do it about every 300rnds or it simply won't load. Mine is basically stock.....I have a trigger with a bolt through it that stops any overtravel, ....oh, and a titanium firing pin and/or extractor (can't remember if I did the pin also...). There are all sorts of stuff....gunsmoke.com USED to be a business that built ultra custom 10/22s that could shoot all in the same hole @ 50yds....aftermarket barrels

Pardon me...but I resemble that remark!!

Please understand that I am related to the Browning family. My relatives designed and built many of the weapons that were critical to the history of the US including machine guns and a variety of sidearms bearing such nameplates as Remington and Colt. You DO NOT want to screw with this bunch of squirrels!

Shoot doooogs and cats instead!!

Ahhhhh but they are 10 rounds, same as stock 10/22 mag and is probably inferior in reliability (the Ruger mag is very reliable), as are most after-market mags.

Sweet gun Warty, but I'd have thought it more of a groundhog gun than a squirrel gun.

If we had them, that's what it'd be. Need more wide open fields rather than hills and forests.

I held a sweet ultimate varmint shooter the other day....Ruger M77 target model (forgot the exact model #) in 22-250 with 26" barrel, Harris bi-pod and Leupold scope.....*shudder*
