Hey gearheads, anyone watching Monster Garage?

I especially liked the 90 5.0 Mustang turned into a lawnmower. And the paint jobs are fantastic. Anyone watching? Discovery channel.

linky

I saw 4 episodes so far. Sunday and Yesterday. Supposed to be a full season this fall.

Its a new show with Jesse James from West Coast Choppers which was featured on Discovery the last 2 years. They put a crew together using top people in there fields applying to the project at hand. fOR THE 5.0 lawnmower they had the top engineer from Snapper, along with a bunch of other specialists.

The hydo-bug was awesome. Beat an actual air-boat. Hilarious.

They take a car and almost gut it and turn it into a garbage truck. Ford Explorer. Must look stock though.

I watched it---(West Coast Choppers is down the street from me)---I just didnt understand the concept?

The lawnmower was lame as hell---it only halfway worked, and the bug would have sunk in about 5 more mins of watertime---what WAS cool was seeing the actual construction, Jesse James is a wizz with metal there is no doubt about that...

All of the concepts were kinda lame, but come on its not about putting them into production or anything. and btw, the mower deck worked fine! And the bug won!(although it was kinda fixed)
