Someone just put a bid in for our house. My wife wants to move closer to family in Iowa, so we agreed on Minnesota. Some city called Chanhassen (her sister lives there). Looks like a dry heat no more., but humidity and mosquitoes the size of pterodactyls.
So does anyone live in that area? What's it like?
Thanks.

Never lived there, but spent a fair amount of time there. Cold (only two seasons, winter and July) but it's a dry cold Very friendly people, by and large.
Oh, and the Mosquito is the Minnesota State Bird....
Good luck on the move.

dry cold... LOL
Southern MN or Northern?
If you're originally from AZ and moving to MN... grab 4 jackets, cause you'll need all 4 if you're not used to the cold
Is there still snow up there?
LOL yes I know there isn't, its a joke :P
Oh and they've got a nice accent you can pick up on too!
Ever seen fargo?

I beleive Prince's Studio is in Chanhassen. that or Chaska which is another Suburb of Minneapolis right next to Chanhassen.

Appearently we are moving intoa VERY nice neighborhood. The neighborhood cul-de-sac has only 8 houses on a very big circle, and they're executives and such.
I'll show up in my baseball jersy and backwarks baseball cap and it will be just like the Clampetts moved in.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Clampetts:
