Another Sad Day for the Cardinals

So I go to turn on the Cubs game, and all I see is Boston and LA playing. I decided to pop online and do a little sleuthing, and I came about some very unfortunate news. This morning, Darryl Kile, pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, passed away in his hotel room. Out of respect to the team and his family, today's game has been postponed. A good pitcher and a good friend to many players, Kile will be mourned by much of the baseball community. It's been a tough week for the redbirds; first Jack Buck, and now, sadly, someone much younger. My heart goes out to Kile's family, who must be struggling with such a tragic loss.

That's hard to believe. He leaves a wife and two young children. What a shame.

It was an unexpectedly classy move by the commissioner to postpone the game.

Wow, I can't believe this. I thought this thread was going to be about the Card's play recently, but not this! He was a great guy from what I heard. I had read where he was a great teammate. I feel badly for his family.
