Hang in there, kitty. The first three days are the worst, for the physical withdrawal. Once the pangs pass comes the hard part: remembering why you stopped each time you're tempted to light one up. But it certainly can be done.
And when you find yourself gaining weight -- and you will -- don't go back to smoking! There are much better and safer ways to keep weight off than that: change of diet, exercise, portion control.
