We had a small earthquake here today. It happened about 1:30. I told everyone in my office I just felt a tremor and they said I was nuts...
Then I got this off the Net
Quote:
(Louisville, KY) -- Two earthquakes have rattled a wide area of Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois this afternoon. A 4.4 quake was centered just north of Paducah, which another measuring 5.0 on the Richter Scale hit near Evansville, Illinois. Both quakes were felt at about 1:37 p.m. Eastern Time. There are no reports of damage or injury.
Maybe next time they will believe me...

Heh...I'm way over on the other side of the Mississippi (in Cape Girardeau, MO) and I felt it. Made my computer desk and monitor shake...and about the time I realized "hey...this is an earthquake" it stopped.
Not many ppl I talked to felt it either...I'm kinda curious as to what caused it...or what faultline it was on. It wasn't on the New Madrid faultline...that's the one that gets all the attention here in Southeast Missouri...

Looks like there was a 5.3 Earthquake of the coast of claifornia (looks to be near San Fransisco, I think). Wonder if some of you there got some good surf?
