Think about this:
a. The number of physicians in the US is 700,000.
b. Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year is 120,000.
c. Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171. (US Dept. of Health & Human Services)

Then think about this:
a. The number of gun owners in the US is 80,000,000.
b. The number of accidental gun deaths per year (all age groups) is 1,500.
c. The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .0000188.

Statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban doctors before this gets out of hand. As a public health measure I have withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear that the shock could cause people to seek medical attention.

hmm...this does require some serious thought.

First of all, there will be the NPA (National Physicians Association) that promotes the use of new techniques that are inherently dangerous to clients and also coins phrazes like "Physicians don't kill people, other people kill people" or something of the like.

after enough deaths (mostly by unlicensed physicians) the government starts by making physicians wait one year before they can start practicing while the government runs background checks and makes sure that they have NOT been rehabilitated for their murderous thoughts.

Then the government decides that they need new "smart" physicians. these physicians will be especially designed that they can only kill, errr give therepy to people if they pass a thumbprint scan first.Of course this doesn't do anything for the decline of deaths by physician wounds because the large majority of physician wounds are by unlicensed physicians anyway who were hired on the blackmarket.

Of course then people start saying that we should just outlaw physicians altogether. The obvious answer to this is that we have the right to seek medical attention garaunteed by the constitution (the 30th amendmant), but moreover is that physicisians are already in place and you can't simply outlaw them and expect them to find another job, they will just continue to operate illegaly, afterall most of them are already operating illegally and so there is no change for them.

Finally it ends up that only the criminals and the military have physicians and we become a communist state where hospitals are far and few between and are unaccessible to normal guys like us. we have to resort to unthinkable things like using ducktape and bailing wire for all of our physician needs, tools that cannot do the job at all (it only works on cars). so the country falls to ruin and everything we cherish is no longer in existence.

We must make illegal for docs to drive, but they can shoot any patients they want.
