Hostess Fruit Pies?

I just bought a Hostess Apple Pie from our vending machine here at work. Where is the fruit? A small dab of it in the bottom. The rest is a hollow pie shell. I havent had one of these in years. Is this the norm or did I just happen to get a dud?

Hehehe. dunno the answer but reminds me of a joke.

This miser doode goes to an expensive French restaurant in NYC and asks the waiter what's the cheapest entree? The waiter says lamb chop & peas.

So he orders it and finally they bring the food to his table with great fanfare-huge serving pots with shiny metal covers over a small flame....you know the routine.

So when the waiter serves the doode, on this huge plate is a single pea.

Doode: "Where's the lamb chop?"

Waiter: "Sir, look under the pea!"

Don't usually buy stuff from Hostess anymore. There's a brand called J.J.'s xxxxx Pies. (xxxxx = the flavor). 4 for a buck at the local super market. 4 flavors I've seen so far, and they all taste great, especially the lemon.
