My Road Runner cable has been up, and down for 3 weeks.
Down way more than it has been up, and their explanation is it is a known issue for People in my area, and there is no ETR for when it will be fixed... How much you wanna bet they still try to collect the bill at the end of the month.

I am going to let em have it.

DSL in my area is now half off for the first 6 months with no contracts, no startup fees, and free installation, and free Hardware. I will have to remind them that they are not the only broadband on the block.

Bopper,

Call tech support and complain, get a service call number. Or if the downtime is listed on a status page, use that if you can copy it.

Then call customer service and tell them you hare not receiving the service you paid for on X and X days.. (whatever). They can reference the logged number of your tech call.

They've adjusted my bill every time.

TBC - Glad you're back up and running. I find downtime extremely annoying if it happens too frequently.

i just love the cluase in my contract that says that i cant claim a refund unless my downtime was more than 99% of my usage time period

So in other words if i want my money back my net has to be down for 29 dyas of a month
