But next week, I'll be in Mesa all week with you, Fatal Xception. I'll try to bring some of the cold air with me. Are you anywhere near the Mesa Residence Inn?
The only one I could find was on Grove Ave. If that's the one...I'm pretty close.

The humidity around here is going to kill me yet. Not to mention, the fact that my uniform is black pants, and a mostly black shirt...... I am begining to figure out why they have a high turn around there..........

As for the humidity, the higher it gets, the less I am able to breathe.

It rains here. A lot. A lot more that you'd think upstate NY gets. We have tornadoes, too. It gets hot and cold and rains. Sometimes its like we live in a temperate sub-tropical rain forest. Some years it's dry, though. The temperature here ranges from -50 or so to 120 or so. We like to say around here that we live in the a$$hole part of the world.

Yuma is getting hot too. The only nice times to be outside are 4-5am and 7-12pm.

Before air conditioning, foreign diplomats in DC used to get hardship pay.

Now, of course, everything is perfect.

Yep, it's on Grove Ave. Maybe I can catch up with you sometime while I'm there. I'll be there all week teaching a class during the day.

BTW, the weather here is perfect today - high of 73°, sunny, and (as usual) low humidity.

Had a snow fall the night before and ninety plus that afternoon...

Today it was in the upper eighties and HUMID, wanted to swim around the yard...

Seriously though, the weather here is always wet, one way or another. Had a co-worker that went out west somewhere to an arthitis (sp?) clinic, and was looking better after just a few weeks out of the humidity here.
Ohhh Michigan weather is always entertaining. I am in Philadelphia,PA/Wildwood,NJ for the Summer so I am only looking forward to the heat!
