Anyone Else Join Me???

Ok National No Tobbacco day os coming soon. And usually I buy 3 packs of smokes, and prepare to smoke them out. But this year I'm going to throw a curve. I Quit. No more, cold turkey. I had my last one 18 hours ago. If I make it through the night, I feel I can make it. At 9:30 am central, it will be 24 hours.
So who will join me? hey for me it means an extra 75 bucks a month for puter parts
Anyone Else??

hang tight brainchild. i went thru stopping a few times. have stayed stopped for about 4 yrs now. in michigan you would save around 180 a month @ 6 bucks a day(2 packs a day). mich i think has the highest taxed ciggys in the country.

let us know how you are doing.

Good job!

One more day under your belt is one more day that the cravings will decrease and one more day to lower that associated risk of cancer.

I often think, WTH would anyone smoke? You get nothing out of it? It doesn't make you faster, smarter or better looking. That is what made me quit.

I quit on 4 Jan 2000 at 7PM after smoking for 13 years.

Excellent brainchild
Actually truth be told I "quit quitting" about 3 months ago and got hooked on the cancer sticks again.. BUT I did quit again May 29 so I'm right there strugglin' with ya
Its not terribly difficult for me seeing as I hate smoking anyways.. I just loathe it because of the smell, the cost and all the negatives that go with it... really the only reason I like them is its a "good" way to walk away from stress pionts sometimes or just to help me calm down to deal with stress. I don't really drink either so can't do that
So just gotta tough it out
