Holiday time! :)

Time for a holiday! I'm starting a 5 week vacation tomorrow, when I head to sunny Brisbane (is it still cold for you, RustyGT?? ) to attend a week of conference. Then my family join me and we do the Surfer's Paradise Theme Park stuff, then meander down the East coast of Australia until we finally arrive home early in July.

Just finished a grueling week at work training someone for my job for a month, and finishing off all the things I had to finish before I could go. Now I'm in holiday mood!!!

The only downside is my wife is making me turn off all my PC's before I go, so ECCp109 and UD are gonna stop for a bit

And no net access or email for a month, unless I can get my wife's WAP phone working. Hope I can survive that!

So don't work too hard until I get back, people!

Mick, you'll have a ball on the Gold Coast. There is so much to do.

Careful as you head down the Northern NSW Coast.
That is one of the most beautiful parts of the planet.
And very seductive, most who spend any time there, never leave.
You've been warned.

Oh remember, it's winter here, leave your woolies at home, you wont need them.
If you have never visited the most easterly part of Aus, be prepared to see Adelaide in a different light when you get home.
SA has it's beautiful places. True. But......

Note. I am 1200 KMs Nth of the Gold Coast. TBC 400 Ks further Nth again.

And.... There is no reason to be outta touch with the 'net. There are internet cafes everywhere. Even in the smallest towns.
Tourism is what we do over here.
