Whats up with the pop ups?

Ive been noticing a lot of pop ups here. I didnt realize that techimo had so many

I don't care for pop ups at home, I can deal with them. But at school, especially during class when I go on techimo, and a pop up comes up, and the teacher walks up, and I start clicking all the popups away, I might get really busted

In Linux you can set Konqueror and Opera to refuse pop-ups.

I agree the pop-up have started to annoy me a little. It seems as if they appear every time I click on a new page.

I don't think Techimo is at fault here. I am not seeing popups like you guys are. I saw one today and don't even think it was related to techimo. I suggest downloading and running AdAware to make sure you don't have something else at work.

I get them at home on a dialup but not here at work. PC's are configured almost identically. Whats the difference?
