Talk I got engaged this weekend!!!!
Hey everyone, I don't have much time to hang around anymore, but I still do stop by every now and then. But I wanted to spread my excitement to all of you here that I am now engaged! I was able to get special liberty for Memorial Day Weekend to fly home to Texas to see my then girlfriend (now Fiancee!!) and propose to her. We went ring shopping and I got her an incredibly beautiful ring. Platinum, princess cut, .5 ct cathedral mount solitare. The diamond is very good quality, and I was able to pay cash for it....it only cost me $2143.78! It was a sum of money that I was really looking forward to spending. When we saw the ring, I almost stopped breathing and she gave me this look that said both "I love you" and "Please!!!" at the same time!

We will be waiting about a year before we tie the knot so she can finish school and so we can see where I will be stationed. I will be done with my schooling in the Navy within the next 4-8 months, and hopefully Carswell NAS in Ft. Worth will have a need for me so we can be close to each other once again. Well, I hope all of you are doing well, I will continue to find as much time as I can to stop by and say hello.
