Anyone here go Mountain Biking?

I do, and I just bought a new bike!

Giant NRS 1

I'll pick it up on friday. Test rode a NRS 3 and loved the rear on it, front fork(Judy XC) sucked, but I'm getting a Marzocchi MXC 100 Air ECC fork soon too so i'll have some fun with that too...

Booo... front suspension is for wienies (and those people that can afford to not get their arms rattled off) . That sounds like a pretty sweet bike though. My old Treck 820's been kicking for a good while now (5 years), and the only real trouble I've had is with the Shimano brakes. They were apparently a defective model with these plastic spring holders that cracked off all four parts. The big problem though is no suspension. It can make you lose the good mother earth at times .

But it answer to your topic, yeah I love it. I even took a machete and carved out a 1/5 mile long track from the wooded lot next door to ride in those brief times when you can't get a full workout or go somewhere cool. That path is getting pretty well worn, but on the 4th of next month I'm going to a basically unihabited island where there are over 50 miles of backwoods paths/roads and only 9 other students to share with, so no hikers/backpackers getting all worked up over my activities.

I go probably 5 out of 7 days a week. Stupid thunderstorms today interrupted me though. I posted something about this a couple days ago too.

I've got a Trek Y3, fully suspended. I wasn't really looking for a full sus bike, but I just couldn't argue with the price. The only problems I really have is that the rear shock eats up your flat land and uphill power, and when you're in the saddle trying to climb some bumpy stuff, it shifts your weight even farther back from the front forks and they jump quite a bit more than I'd like. I think my next bike will probably be another hard tail. I almost bought one GT or another, but the Y3 was $200 less so I did that instead or something.
