Wow Impressed

Well last night (for the third time) I ran scandisk on WinXP and I ended up having to do a whole reinstall of Xp. Well when I was doing the reinstall I messed up and formatted my hdd that had all my mp3's, music videos and files. But I just to let you guys know that I LOVE CABLE. In about two hours I managed to get 450 of my songs back. (I did have around 3000). Now I know a good 5%-10% of these will end up getting replaced with better versions but.... Does everyone mess up and do something like I did?

I killed my data drive a few times. 27GB of MP3, vids, and misc stuff I've had since my 486 days. Somehow or another I had backed 99% of it up, thank God. I'm still copying my MP3s from CD back to my hard drive though. :P

Oh man this one time I deleted a shortcut from my desktop--YIKES!!!

Hmm...I can't remember losing any major amount of data. Maybe that's because I do it so much it par for the course...

Good idea to periodically burn important stuff to CDs. That way its "written in stone" so as to speak.
