What's everyone got for a mountain bike?

Here's mine. It's a Trek. It's old. It was dirt cheap. Soft tails are great for downhills, but I do more single track stuff so I'm probably going to invest in a hard tail this summer.

Yes, my camera is the digital death of all others!

I have some weird city-mountainbike mixture from Alpina. It used to be a dark red, but the colour faded and now it's pink, so I hardly use it

Walmart $90 special... my campus beater. Says "NEXT" on the frame. Thing weighs at least 300 pounds. It's a tank. Prolly kill myself if I ever took some serious trails with it. It gets the job done though.

RM 125.

You can get about the same amout of excercise and you can jump 30 foot through the air.

If you don't believe the exercise part try to ride a dirt bike hard and tell me you stomach, arms, and legs dont feel like jelly. heh heh heh.

however I did sell it and now I am fat and old. Does that mean if it get another one I will be young and skinny again.

Gary Fisher (Trek) Kaitai aluminum frame... Took a while to get used to the "lightness" of the Frame. When I first started pounding it on trails, it felt "weak." Dont know how else to explain it- because of the frame and light weight. I quickly got used to it and now cant let go of the Bike...hehe. It is almost 4 years old and many things have been replaced, it is scratched and banged to he**, but it keeps putting up with the beating. Great Bike! I have taken a lot of spills with it and I think, no- I know , it will probably out live me... hehe.

Nice bike Mortis. I haven't seen a bad review on it yet!!! Even with the rear shock, this bike is lighter than my last, a Trek 930SHX. I need to get some good Lake bike shoes though, as my ginormous feet wouldn't fit in the stock toe-clips. :P I hope this one lasts as long as my 930 did. The only reason that's down is that I gave the rear wheel and deraileur to my buddy after he killed his on his GT (due in no small part to my suicidal off-road truck driving skills).

Epidemic - I think I'll stick to the people propelled bikes, as I have a hard enough time staying alive on those.

More more! I know there are some more bikers out there. Come on Scott, you don't own a mountain bike?!?
