Sorry about your look. Maybe the next place will be a lot better?

The place has been for sale for over 12 months? Why didnt you start looking for a new place for now?

That sucks Rusty. You'd think they'd give you a little more than two weeks. Are you sure that it's legal that they don't give you 30 days or something? Man, it took me four months find a place. Good luck man, hope everything works out for the better (it usually does when led by something unlike better).

Surely they must give you more than 2 weeks notice. Have you checked you Tennancy agreement, it might say something in there
Good luck in finding a new place

He is in australia. They've got some crazy laws there so maybe 2 weeks is the required notice.
I love my landlord. In my lease I give one months notice but he has to give 90 days.

That really does suck Rusty, but I too would like to know why you didn't start looking for a new place earlier? From what I understand you had 12 months notice ??

Good luck in finding a new place fast.

Depends on where you are at. Terms of the sale are done with the buyer and the seller. Generally if a contract needs to be broken they need to give the same type of terms to vacate, such if you are month to month they are suppose to give you a months notice. However in some cases they can break it sooner than that. Frankly I am suprised the buyer and seller only allowed two weeks for the finalization of the sale and giving tenant time to move. I am sure if you ask them you might be able to negociate with them seeing how you been a good tenant for 2.5 years.

Out of respect I would have at least given the tenant 30 days. But that is me.
