Heh, one other thing I noticed is they get irate at peoplpe who've grown up in snow. When it snows, the grocery stores are emptied of bread and milk, and there are tons of people on the road, driving like they've never seen snow. I'm originally from upper michigan and well, we have snow nine months a year (okay, maybe not quite THAT long) so I'm bashing around in my 4x4, sliding through corners and stuff. Boy they don't like that.

As a native born Pittsburgher/Pennsylvanian i must state emphatically 'we do NOT talk funny, nor have an accent. People in other parts of the country do.~
Us North Hills natives knew how to drive on ice/snow when Pgh. area had 33'' on Turkey Day in 1950.~
This was before 'studs' an all year mud & snow radial tires.~
We used chains.

I was raised in North Hils (10 miles north of Pgh) i left because of cold & how it affected my health, but i do NOT hate it or Pa.

I like PA because you get every season. You have a white Christmas normally, and in the summer it's normally hot enough to swim everyday. I dont think I'll be moving out of the area when I grow up.
