Australia's last, [and the world's last] known Gallipolli Veteran.
Alec Campbell passed away at age 103.
Joined the AIF at 16 [lied about his age]
Spent six weeks at gallipoli in Nov 1915
We have very few left now from the campaigns in France.
But the link to gallipoli is gone.
Despite the mean and self interested things I said on Anzac day.
On [my] behalf, of this nations historians.
This is a man for which we say: Lest we Forget.
