In search of an old racing movie...

I'm looking in my memory to bring back the name of an old racing movie.

If I remember correctly the main actor is Kenny Rogers, he picks up a bunch of kids (orphans I think) and they become his team.

I can't remember the title. I looked on some sites, but I never knew the English title, so I'm lost since I can't even remember the French name.

Six Pack (1982) -
The Gambler goes auto racing. Kenny Rogers, in his theatrical debut, stars as Brewster Baker, a former stock car driver. He returns to the racing circuit with the help of six larcenous orphans (the six pack, get it?) adept at stripping cars. Kinda cute if you're in the mood for a sugar-powdered race car story.
