I've been home for an hour, and have tried to get through on the chat for an hour, but for some reason my proxy server won't let me map the port 6667. Tried everything, it won't let me connect.

Now getting dragged out for dinner by the wife, so have to leave it. Will try some more at some other stage.

Sorry Nunya, that's life and PC's!!

If you download a client like Klient or mIRC for irc there are options if you're behind a proxy.
