I know we have a few Bay Area CA folks, just wanted to make sure everybody was ok!!

Not trying to scare anybody, it was only a 5.2 and so far not even any injuries reported.. just wanted to make sure

I live on the *****ula. Had moderate shaking for a few seconds, just long enough to realize what was happening and it was over. I didn't even start to 'duck and cover'. My 12 year old daughter was awake and thought it was 'cool' because it was the first temblor she felt. Last quake I felt was 1989 Loma Prieta quake and aftershocks when she was 6 weeks old.

Gilroy CA--the garlic capital of the World--where you can buy garlic ice cream. Smelled the town often on route south to the Coast.

Must have been felt in Salinas and Monterray.

According to article, no one hurt--but who knows.

Felt EQ here in NYC a while back--thought it was a neighbor dropping something. Previous EQ thought it was a heavy truck at first--until heard upstrairs neighbor running down the stars.
