Talk I Found My New Home (work-wise, that is)!
As most of you know, I had been unemployed for almost 6 months, and on the second of this month I started my new job at The Cabinet Factory.

Today, in celebration of the 20th Aniversary of being in business, Dick Walz (the sole owner) gave all 358 employees a 20 cent/hr raise. I've been working there less than 2 weeks and I already got a raise, ain't it cool!

This place is great to work for, last Monday we surpassed the previous production record, so on Friday he had lunch catered in for all the employees. We also get bonuses for attendence and profit sharing checks twice a year.

Considering the amount of moving around that I do at work, I should be back in shape in no time, after sitting around on my butt for 6 months.

That is excellent. That is exactly how every company should treat it's employees.

Wow, sounds like an excellent business to work for. And it seems they are doing very well financially.

Oh boy do I hear that!
So I went out and got another job today since my other one is only part time... cause you can really tell I've been sitting in front of a computer too long!

Great thing when you have a job where you are moving around.. You don't need to work out!

I moved to a new company back in Nov and I love the place
Still in the same building (both gov't contractors) but WHOLE new world!!
My bosses are actually like.. smart!! LOL
Congrats to you, and hope you're able to stick around there for a bit and move your way up the ladder
